Bah humbug

No, I'm not scrooge I actually LOVE Christmas but still Bah humbug because my favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Carol all versions except the muppet's one lol.

Anyways...

So Christmas has just gone...OKAY I lied, I lied so bad its been days. I've been meaning to post this for the longest but I haven't, not on purpose though. It's all because I've been waiting for our Christmas family photo to be taken which links in with the outfit I'm wearing today as the theme this year is satin pyjamas. So because it seems to be taking longer than usual for it to be taken I decided to make the post anyway and perhaps make a separate one all about the family photo.

So onto the outfit, I took a more glam approach and paired my Satin pyjama set with some black over the knee socks and for accessories I went for a silver glitter choker, a sterling silver pendant necklace with a matching ring, another crystal band ring and lastly a guess charm bracelet. Not really much because essentially the pyjamas are the outfit.

There will be no dress-coding me

Hey guys, I'm back with a new outfit and this one is all inspired by my schools (UGLY) smart dress-code. (I know, who do they think they are making us dress like formal loosers everyday) however I've managed to get around it and here is one of the ways I do it. What I like to do is to start off my outfits with is a simple base and build on from there, this usually consists of a perhaps a shirt and some trousers; I do this because one, this is the only way I can guarantee I follow the (stupid) dress-code and two, this allows me to ALWAYS remember to add my own flair. On this day in particular I went for a simple look and just wore the base outfit, which consisted of a pastel blue shirt from Ralph Lauren, a pair of black trousers from H&M, a pair of ankle boots from London Rebel, a Long Champ Le Pilage handbag and last but not least a faux suede shearling jacket. Alhough this outfit isn't much, I think it's still a good example of ways you can look like less off a bum in a school dress code.

Side note about this jacket I actually bought it off depop brand new from Nada Adelle, who is actually a blogger and I just love her stuff so check her out.

Winter Warm-ups

So here's my first outfit post in honor of London's winter season. It features some leather pants from H&M, I bought these a few years ago and they have lasted so well, they fit as snug as the first day I bought them (definitely a buy). I paired the trousers with a turtleneck from Primark (I know right), I just love it. it's so snug, warm, has this absolutely chic high neck and best of all its only £6. Worth every penny, definitely go get one. I also threw on a Gilet to add a bit more warmth however I can't actually remember where it's from but I will link a similar one below. My shoes and bag were a gift from my dad from his trip to Italy. the shoes have this lovely chain detail across the front whilst the bag has the beautiful Chanel inspired quilted design (no it's not real but it's still pretty). So there you have it, a simple look that also keeps you warm.

Stay warm this winter,

xoxo The Walking Babe
